Fruit Flavored Honey
- 4 Clean 4 oz Canning Jars with Rings and Lids
- ¼ Cup Fruit of Your Choice
- ½ Cup Filtered Honey (local is best)
- ¼ Cup Water
- Mesh Strainer
Place fruit, honey and water in a medium sized sauce pan. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat. Reduce heat to low and let it simmer for 20 – 30 minutes. Strain mixture through mesh strainer into a clean bowl. Test mixture for desired flavor. Return to pan if necessary and add more honey or fruit if necessary. Repeat straining. Pour mixture into jars and let it cool, then store in refrigerator.

Herbal Infused Honey
(this one takes a bit of patience)

- Mesh Strainer
- Glass Bowl or Jar with a Lid

Place honey in a clean a bowl and add herbs of choice. Place mixture in glass bowl or jar and seal. Store mixture in a cool place for up to three weeks for best flavor. Strain mixture through mesh strainer into a clean bowl. Pour mixture into gift jars and then store in refrigerator.
